Yard Act have signed up a bunch of comedians for a five-night Brudenell Social Club residency

Yard Act have announced a five-night residency at the Brudenell Social Club.

Taking over the venue this May, they’ll perform alongside a number of comedians; a special ‘secret’ guest (8th May), Nish Kumar (9th May), Lolly Adefope (10th May), Harry Hill (11th May) and Rose Matafeo (12th May).

Frontman James Smith says: “Yard Act is all about entertainment. To be truly entertained, audiences need variety in their lives. Who needs to see more bands supporting more bands? Boring! Superstar stand ups started showing up at shows last year. We made some friends. Why not bring them all to Leeds to hang out and create a week we’ll never forget? We couldn’t believe they all said yes, but they did. Honestly!”

Tickets go on general sale from Friday 10th March.

The band have also booked a second night at London’s Troxy on 5th May, in addition to their sold out show the previous day.
