Antarctigo Vespucci’s ‘Love In The Time of E-mail’ is a solid collection of songs with catchy hooks

Label: Big Scary Monsters
Released: 26th October 2018
Rating: ★★★

Antarctigo Vespucci is the brainchild of Chris Farren and Jeff Rosenstock with the latest fruit of their labour ‘Love In The Time of E-mail’ is a good effort from the duo. The album is a solid collection of songs with catchy hooks, such as on ‘Kimmy’ and ‘White Noise’, and poppy sensibilities.

Songs such as ‘So Vivid!’ and ‘Not Yours’ are perfect examples of what makes part of this record great but there is a nagging feeling that the album drags on a bit too long with a fair bit of filler towards the end. Nonetheless, Farren and Rosenstock have come together to create some really fun songs with the best moments coming when they turn their guitars up and let them roar.
